Apprenticeship as an industrial electrician

As an industrial electrician, you will be responsible for the electronic systems of large companies. You will set up the power supply for a new production hall in a manufacturing company. Or you will maintain the entire security technology on a company premises, from emergency power generators to surveillance cameras.

When new facilities are being built, you advise the engineers and architects right from the design stage to ensure that the electrical supply is optimally guaranteed. Another area you work in is the company's IT systems, which you take care of together with the specialists in the IT department. Here you are responsible for purchasing, installing and maintaining the hardware, which you regularly service, update and, if necessary, replace.
