As an electrician specialising in industrial engineering, you will not only install electrical systems and control boxes. You will also plan and implement changes or extensions to existing systems. 

Your tasks include:

• Installation of cable routing systems
• Assembly of switchgear
• Setting up drive systems and machines
• Testing, programming and configuration of switching systems and safety devices
• Monitoring and maintaining systems
• Repairing faults
• Training users in new or modified systems
• Organising and monitoring external service providers
