Bittering Extracts

The hop extracts in this product group serve almost exclusively to adjust beer bitterness. Depending on where they are used in the brewing process, they are categorized as “kettle products” (brewhouse) or “downstream products” (cold section). Conventional hop extracts, which are usually added at the start of wort boiling, account for the majority of hop extracts worldwide.
